Further information

  • You will gain a detailed overview of the design process itself, the focus is on the activity “Generating design solutions to meet user requirements”.
  • Through numerous accompanying exercises during the seminar, you will learn to apply these methods independently and will thus be optimally prepared for the practical exam.
  • You can tackle the theoretical online exam at your own pace after the seminar, thus taking the pressure of the theoretical exam out of the seminar.

You will gain an insight into the basic concepts of the following fields of competence based on theoretical principles and numerous practical examples:

  • The seminar content follows the curriculum.
  • We will look intensively at chapters 1 to 3 and practise every single step up to the creation of a low-fidelity prototype.
  • We will touch on chapters 4 to 6 to fully understand the design process. You should still study these chapters in depth on your own for the theoretical exam.

The contents of the seminar correspond to the curriculum and glossary of the International Usability and User Experience Qualification Board (UXQB®), which is recognised by 5 European professional associations of Usability Professionals (e.g. German UPA).

  • All those involved in the development and design of systems, products and services.
  • UX professionals who want to know more about the methodology of user-centredness and how to transfer the results of context of use analysis into design solutions
  • UX professionals who would like to refresh their practical knowledge on the basis of the ISO standard and have it certified.
